Abstract:
The neuroARCH course is a unique professional development programme (CPD) lasting 30 hours (1 ECTS credit) and delivered in an asynchronous online format. This course is innovative in that it combines neuroscience, sustainable architecture and the principles of the New European Bauhaus (NEB).
The programme is designed for professionals who want to upskill or reskill in line with the requirements of the green and digital transition. The main goal of the course is to teach how to create bio-oriented, circular and trauma-informed spaces that support both human well-being and the health of the planet.
The course integrates cross-disciplinary skills, including circular economy, mental resilience and climate-conscious construction. It is based on real cases from Ukraine, including reconstruction projects and the Open Door Ukraine Healthy House initiative for families affected by PTSD. An additional module is dedicated to entrepreneurial skills for architects and urban development specialists.
The project is being implemented by a consortium led by the King Danylo University Higher Education Institution. Partners also include Blago Bud Limited Liability Company, which provides practical application, and TBZ SaS di Gantioler Guenther & C, which promotes dissemination and international visibility in the EU.
Successful completion of the course and passing the assessment entitles participants to receive an EIT-Labelled micro-credential certificate. This EIT-Label recognition increases the competitiveness and employability of professionals in Europe. The course directly contributes to the EIT Culture & Creativity's goals of strengthening human capital in the cultural and creative industries (CCSI).
