Department of Finance and Accounting trains specialists in the specialty 071 "Accounting and Taxation" on the first (bachelor) - educational program "Accounting and Business Analytics" - and the second (master) - educational program "Accounting and Audit in the management of business organizations" levels of higher education.

Educational program "Accounting and business analytics”

It aims to train specialists in accounting, auditing, taxation, and business analytics. This program is focused on training a new generation of specialists capable of evaluating and analyzing information and then making balanced management decisions on its basis. Therefore, students receive, on the one hand, basic knowledge, which is a fundamental component of classical economic education, and on the other hand, the latest knowledge related to digital accounting; tax planning; analytical evaluation of business processes, market analytics; processing and visualization of large data arrays. These are the specialists who know the methodology and tools of accounting, analysis, and auditing, successfully used for the development and implementation of strategic decisions of business entities belonging to different accounting, tax, and information-analytical issues.

Aimed at preparing highly qualified and competitive specialists with fundamental theoretical knowledge and practical skills in accounting, analysis, control, auditing, taxation, and able to professionally analyze, evaluate and justify tactical and strategic decisions caused by business process management and improve the reliability. This educational program is focused on a combination of the most important directions for building the accounting process: formation of accounting and reporting information using the latest information systems and technologies; implementation of international accounting experience; making management decisions.
